2021 Festival Field Trip Locations
Indiana Dunes Birding Festival field trips will feel a little different this year. No vans or buses will be used in 2021. All field trips will caravan to the birding site in separate vehicles, or meet on site for select trips. While most trips will meet at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, a select few will meet on-site as carpooling and caravanning can often be difficult (stoplights, toll booths, Chicago traffic!, etc...)
All CDC guidelines for social distancing and masking are expected to continue for the 2021 Indiana Dunes Birding Festival, including a mask mandate on Indiana Dunes National Park facilities.

All pre-festival trips and tours will meet at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center (1215 N SR 49, Porter, IN) EXCEPT the Chicago Migrants Hotspot Tour, which will meet at Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary
