2025 Registration Opens in March!

Indiana Audubon members begin registration on March 1 at 10am CT. General Registration begins March 3 at 10am CT.

Online registration closes May 1, 2025. Walk-ins are accepted during festival check-in hours.

All basic registrations include access to all afternoon presentations, headliners, the migration marketplace, the youth and family birding day, and free entry to the Indiana Dunes State Park. Field trips, most evening socials, and workshops require additional fees.

Youth rates are for individuals 17 years and younger. Contact the bird festival planning team for group rates (10 or more participants registered together) at info@indunesbirdingfestival.com.

Refund Policy

Refund requests can be processed via the registration system (Cvent) by individual attendees. Simply login using your confirmation code and use the "cancel" or "modify" options. 

2025 Refund Rates

  • March 1-March 31: Full refund minus $15 admin fee
  • April 1-April 30: 50% refund
  • May 1 and after: No refunds will be given.

Refunds are issued to the original credit card payment. If cancelling/switching individual sessions only (and keeping basic registration for the festival) before April 30, full refunds of those sessions will be given. IDBF cannot issue refunds for any voucher codes and/or compensated activities. COVID-19 Policy
Please note that the IDBF is continually monitoring the situation regarding (COVID-19). Any changes to the festival will be announced immediately. Please refer to our cancellation policy should you wish to cancel your registration before the refund deadline.
